FOR GIRLS LIKE YOU is more than a magazine for godly girls.
Founded by Wynter Pitts, FOR GIRLS LIKE YOU began with a desire for resources for her four daughters. In just a few short years, Wynter created a national magazine, devotionals, books and many other tools for girls and their parents. The Pitts Family is devoted to carrying on Wynter’s legacy and her vision for this ministry. We are committed to help you in your journey to grow in God and raise your own godly daughters.

How to Talk to Kids about Pornography - Thoughts, Tips and a Free Download

Have you had a conversation with your kids about porn? If no, you need to start! Your girls are just as susceptible as your boys if you didn't know...

I stumbled upon this neat ministry that makes it really simple to understand where to start. A cool simple way to think about and begin to combat porn taken from a free resource at https://www.defendyoungminds.com/brain-defense.

From their guide..."Here are 3 basic defenses every child needs

The good news that even 3-year-olds can learn three basic defenses to keep them safe from
pornography. (All of these are taught in both Good Pictures Bad Pictures books!)

1. A definition, so they’ll recognize what they’re seeing.
2. A warning, so they’ll have reasons to reject it.
3. A plan, so they’ll be ready to respond and not get caught off guard."

A new morning ritual

Just a sneak peek into my real life. Being managed by my daughters. They treat me like their little personal baby doll sometimes 😂😭.

I’m 42 and learning how to manage my hair for the first time ever.

Resurfacing

Hey guys, it’s been an overwhelming season. Mostly leading my girls into a new season and stewarding, well, my marriage. Never before has my family needed my complete and undivided attention like it does now. Thank you for your patience.

Honestly, I almost gave up on posting on here but a good friend a colleague named Ken with a daughter who devours For Girls Like You reminded me that never before have communities like ours needed a safe space to process what we’re walking through than now.

So here I am. Recommitting to our space and our conversation.

Also, thought I’d share a pic of a wondering spring break with my family. We hiked a bit in the small but beautiful mountains of Chatanooga.

Any conversation you want to have?

Anything you need to process as you lead your family?
