If you have an 8-12 year old daughter or somewhere close, check out our new 5 day devotional taken from our new release, Living As God’s Girl: You’re One-Of-A-Kind Guide to the Fruit of the Spirit.
It’s a great way to engage her heart, and maybe for you to engage with her around who God really is and what it looks like when He is near :) 🍒🍓🍇🍉🍑

Hey guys, it’s been an overwhelming season. Mostly leading my girls into a new season and stewarding, well, my marriage. Never before has my family needed my complete and undivided attention like it does now. Thank you for your patience.
Honestly, I almost gave up on posting on here but a good friend a colleague named Ken with a daughter who devours For Girls Like You reminded me that never before have communities like ours needed a safe space to process what we’re walking through than now.
So here I am. Recommitting to our space and our conversation.
Also, thought I’d share a pic of a wondering spring break with my family. We hiked a bit in the small but beautiful mountains of Chatanooga.
Any conversation you want to have?
Anything you need to process as you lead your family?
Wanted to let you know that there is a Locals app that you should download. It’s a way easier way to access our community than going to the webpage.
See ya soon!
I’m reminded this new year that the tighter I hold onto my daughters, the less they will learn to walk.
That’s true of their gifts.
That’s true of their journey.
That’s true of the Lords purpose for them.
At all ages, their wobbly steps have produced more confident steps, as they’ve received encouragement, coaching and correction. But it hasn’t happened when I’ve held on to tight.
In fact, holding on to tight has only delayed their growth.
Letting go this year anew 🙏🏾🙌🏽🚀.
On your parenting journey, where have you held you daughter to tight? In what way do you need to let her go in order for her to take wobbly steps towards growth?
